We are delighted to announce that tickets are now on sale for the very popular and entertaining Comedy Night which will be taking place on Friday 6th October 2023. It’s always been a sell out and numbers are limited, so we recommend you buy your tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Tickets are just £25.00 each and include a complimentary welcome drink (glass of wine or soft drink).

Doors and bar open 7pm, show starts 8pm. Strictly over 18s only.

The show takes place in the newly refurbished School Hall, Montpelier Road. Seating is unreserved, so choose who you sit with and where. Tables are arranged to seat between 6 and 12 people, but feel free to remove or add chairs as you wish to suit you.

Bar takes cash and card.

Mike Cox

Mike is one of the comedy circuit’s busiest and most popular performers. Semi-finalist in the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year competition in 2013, he reached the final of the Amused Moose Laugh-Off in 2016 and was also crowned South Coast Comedian of the Year. In 2022, he won the Museum of Comedy’s Not So New Comedian of the Year Award.

Dinesh Nathan

Dinesh won the South Coast Comedian of the Year Award in 2019 and reached the finals of the prestigious Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Award the following year. He has quickly become a sought-after performer on the national comedy circuit and has supported Seann Walsh, Suzi Ruffell and Fern Brady on tour.

Christian Jegard

Christian is a comedian, musician, writer and actor based in Brighton. This year has certainly been a good one for him, winning the Musical Comedy Awards, reaching the final of the Komedia New Comedy Awards and achieving 3rd place in the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Award.

Celya AB

Celya is one of the most inventive new voices on the comedy circuit. She is a writer and stand-up, originally from France, now living in Birmingham. Having won the Birmingham Comedy Festival’s Breaking Talent Award, she reached the final of the BBC New Comedy Award and also won the highly regarded Chortle Best Newcomer Award. She took her first solo show to the Edinburgh Fringe last year receiving huge critical acclaim.

Jack Barry

Jack has recently risen to fame following his role playing Jack in Mae Martin’s Netflix Comedy, ‘Feel Good’. Other TV appearances include BBC’s ‘Starstruck’ and ‘Catastrophe’, Sky One’s ‘The Russell Howard Hour’ and ‘The Duchess’ on Netflix. Jack also wrote for ‘Mock the Week’. He is the resident compere of the Mild Friends Comedy Club in Oxford and has supported James Acaster, Joe Lycett, Marc Maron and Russell Howard on tour. Jack has performed six solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and has recently completed a sell-out national tour.
